First off thank you Bronwyn for letting me showcase your role in the Moonshiners on the Bluedogs site!
Yeah of course thank you for taking an interest.
To start off, tell me a bit about the character you played in the film. Would you say that you relate to her in any way?
Yeah my character is total stoner type and a bit psycho given she’s fine with and encourages her friends to kill people so from that it’s kinda funny to play her. But yeah I’d say I relate given how she’s pretty laid back and lazy and just flows with what her friends do.
I loved seeing you play this girl who was so laid back with idea of killing, like a natural snack! Was this your first time acting in a short film?
Thanks! And yeah, first time and it just kinda happened too. Quinn’s original pick wasn’t able to pull through for the part so he asked me since he thought i was similar enough to his idea of the character.
Yess, Quinn is extremely talented. Although this is a major piece that has shown your skills in acting, has acting always been something you’ve been invested in? Might it be something you’d like to pursue in the future?
Yeah I used to want to act as a kid and given how fun the experience was I’d definitely take up any other similar opportunity that could pop up in the future.
What would you say you found most difficult in the making of the short film?
Um probably tie between two things which were not laughing at how ridiculous some things were and drinking the “blood” (It was corn syrup and cranberry juice and tasted like straight up diabetes.)
I was wondering what that was!!! It looked so similar to actual blood I was shook.
Lastly, Do you have a favorite scene that the viewers should look forward to in particular?
Yes okay best scene is when the three are driving to take the dead boy to the woods. The interaction I always thought was funny and also because Anthony (Leo) he was driving a stick shift car for that scene and learned to drive stick five minutes before we shot I️t so we kept jerking around haha.
Thank you so much Bronwyn!!
Yeah of course no problem!
Enjoy the short film written and directed by the extremely talented Mamaroneck High School student, Quinn Fluet.
